PT. Balian Media Online Nusantara, also known as Balian Net, has completed the installation of a fiber-optic internet network in Panji village, Sukasada District, Buleleng Regency. The Director of Balian Net, Septian, expressed his happiness and pride with the establishment of the internet network in the village, which is one of the small areas in Buleleng Regency.

After completing the fiber-optic network in Panji village, Balian Net provided CSR assistance in the form of free Wi-Fi for the residents of Kelod Kauh, Panji village. This fiber-optic based free Wi-Fi will be utilized by residents for various purposes, such as completing assignments, searching for articles, reading news on the internet, and much more.

Septian hopes that Balian Net can build more internet networks in other village areas. “In terms of education alone, many children in Panji village have been helped. I hope there will be many more in other villages. From a governmental perspective, it will also facilitate and accelerate the flow of information. Any information can be conveyed quickly,” he added.

Moreover, in this era of digital transactions, he is confident that business people and the community will benefit from the internet network that has been built. Another important aspect is that the installed network can promote village tourism.

“This village has tourism potential that can be developed through the internet. We can upload and promote our village. So that outsiders know, when visiting Panji village, they must come to Panji waterfall to see the beauty of the village,” he said.

Septian added that the internet nowadays is a basic necessity that every citizen deserves to have. “With this internet network, I hope Panji’s economy will improve. The government has provided the facilities; it’s up to the residents to make optimal use of them. The economy should thrive, school children should be more enthusiastic, and tourism should be developed,” he added. (Dry)
